Dhruv Adhia

Dhruv Adhia is a Human-Centered Technologist and creative systems thinker who has advanced the frontiers of human-adaptive interfaces, XR, and generative AI. Over the past 15+ years, he has driven innovation in spatial computing and immersive systems through a combination of CTO and advisory roles at companies such as H+ Technologies, Cela Technologies , MYND Therapeutics and Prana Labs Inc.

In these roles, Dhruv guided the development of AI-powered tools for CBT therapy, holographic computing platforms, and intuitive interfaces driven by gestures, expressions, and voice. His work consistently focused on “humanizing technology,” ensuring that digital systems remain grounded in natural human behavior.

Academically, Dhruv contributed as a visiting lecturer and workshop facilitator at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, where he led sessions on immersive computing, adaptive interface design, and socially engaged digital systems.

His past contributions include multiple patents in virtual holographic displays and distributed sensor networks. Dhruv’s work has been recognized through several innovation awards, including “Most Innovative Company of the Year” and “Most Disruptive Innovation” for H+ Technologies, the People’s Choice Award at the Vancouver UX Awards, and a national win under the Build in Canada Innovation Program. Cela Technologies was also recognized among BC’s best AI and AR startups.
